As Chief Technology Officer, Frank Leon Rose oversees all technology development and operations for Droplets, Inc., which he co-founded in March 2000. Frank also manages technical recruiting and outsourced development projects. As CTO, his focus is on creating a software engineering force to power Droplets.
Mr. Rose has been developing software and managing the development of complex software, including patented technology, since 1988. Mr. Rose began his career with JYACC, now Prolifics, in New York, where he had sole responsibility for the maintenance, enhancements, and support of a long-standing client's critical application. After JYACC, Mr. Rose became the third member of the programming team at Astrogamma, Inc., where he was responsible for developing major subsystems of FENICS, the global market standard software for currency options trading. Serving as vice president of product development from 1993 to 1995, he doubled the size of the department and focused on promoting process and engineering among developers.
Mr. Rose holds an A.B. in Cognitive Sciences from Harvard University. He was born and raised in Los Angeles and enjoys building Lego machines and structures with his two daughters.
